Guatemalan Jitters

Jose Mendez, junior at MetEast High School. Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey. I am Hispanic, 5'10, weighing at 240 pounds. My interests include marine biology, zoology, and environmental sciences. Growing up, I have always wondered what the world has to offer. I have always dreamed of traveling across the world to experience new things. Though at times I am afraid of trying new things, that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy it. I gives me a chance to live life without asking "what if". I am the type of person keeps to himself, quietly longing to be in an exotic place.

Going to Guatemala that is exactly what I await. A different culture from that of my own. I wonder if the life style there is laid back. How the structures of the houses will be, what kind of recipes do they use, what are the hobbies of the locals. Are there any exotic animals around? What style of clothing is out? The history, while I'm there I would like to hear any folk tales from the past. Many exciting things await. I am just going to have to wait and see with my own two eyes.
